WAKING LAZARUS Auditions
Description:
Endpoint Theatre is casting for an advanced staged reading of Waking Lazarus, a new musical that examines the church's conflict with homosexuality via a gospel choir in the late '60s  and a present-day conservative church.  The reading will include a full pit band and choreography of some key pieces. The show is slated for full production this Fall and has a broad range of musical styles from gospel to classical to country and rock. Although this a drama, the characterizations demand  humor and emotional range, so audition materials should reflect both.
